For almost 10 years I have had the enormous pleasure of collaborating directly with Kim Bogdan on a variety of creative projects where she not only contributed phenomenally edited and animated videos, but she led initiatives where she teamed up with other artists under her leadership to produce terrific results time and time again.

Amongst the millions of individual contributions made to HITRECORD since 2005, I would easily consider some of Kim’s contributions amongst my very favorite. She is a spectacular artist, as well as a kind and considerate creative colleague. I think the world of Kim and her talents in her field are truly remarkable in my book.

Kim has routinely amazed me by her creative flair, knack for storytelling, and impressive talent for effectively using audio/music in the edits. As a fellow professional videographer, I work alongside Kim to help me during more complicated projects. Kim truly possesses pure talent, trained skill, and a hard drive to complete the projects, not only on schedule, but with beautiful cadence too. Kim has filmed video alongside me as a second shooter at two weddings. The most important quality I look for on my team is reliability. I can trust her 100% to operate autonomously on a shoot to grab the shots I need. She has such a natural talent for composition and finding shots that I let her roam with the occasional request here and there. I have used a lot of her footage in my wedding films that we have shot together. From what I have seen from working with her directly, she is someone who loves what she does judging by the amount of time she puts into all her projects. A very alternatively artsy human being with a lot of passion in editing and creating content. I have been working in the film and photography industry for 5 years and have the opinion that Kim is an equivalently skilled video editor to me. 

I've outsourced photography, videography, video edits, and logo stings to Kim and she's churned out high quality work in such short order that I can't be anything but thrilled. I became aware of Kim Bogdan when I saw her wonderful editing work on the HitRecord.com website run by Joseph Gordon-Leavitt.

I hired her to edit some reels for me that I could use on Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok and Facebook. My intention was to increase traffic and awareness of my sites. Following the posting of the reels she made for me there was a notable increase in hits, follows and shares on my accounts.
